65 A Code Vin# 5R09AXXXXXX
When I found this Fastback, in Escondido CA, it had already been molested. It was a true A-code, but it did not have the original 289... I also thought it might be a
true GT, but I was told my vin number was too early... So, I then decided to take the time and money to create a replica of my favorite Mustang, the 66 Black and Gold Shelby Hertz.
When you have a car painted black you usually have to pay extra... If the bodywork has one blemish or dimple, it will show. I know I am asking a lot for this Mustang, but if you try to
do one yourself, with all of these components, you will spend as much or more. When people mention receipts, I can say that I actually have them, and
they will all come with the car.
The 1966 Shelby GT 350H
Some facts, and a little history on the Shelby GT 350H:
A special deal between Ford and Hertz Rent-a-Car brought about the GT 350H. There were a total of 1000 of these special weekend
"Rent-a-Racer" Shelbys. There were a total of 2,380 GT 350s produced in 1966. They are truly one of the BEST LOOKING Shelbys ever built!
